The Ridgeway School and Sixth Form Celebrates Another Year of Outstanding A-Level Success
The Ridgeway School and Sixth Form is proud to celebrate another year of exceptional A-Level results, with students once again achieving outstanding grades that reflect their hard work, determination, and ambition.
This year’s cohort has secured a remarkable set of results, with over 30% of all grades awarded A*-A and over 80% of all grades at A*-C, showcasing the impressive academic standards set by both students and staff. These exceptional outcomes will enable students to pursue diverse and exciting next steps, including places at top universities, prestigious apprenticeships, and employment in a wide range of sectors.
Highlighting the success of this year’s cohort:
- Rhys achieved 2 A*s and 2 As and has earned a place at the University of Cambridge to study Natural Sciences.
- Ruby earned 2 A*s and an A and will study History and Economics at the University of Oxford.
- Freya who achieved 3 A*s and an A and will study Physics with Particle Physics and Cosmology at the University of Birmingham.
- Bea achieved 3 As and will study Veterinary Medicine and Science at the University of Surrey.
- JC earned 2 As and a B and leaves us to pursue Medicine at the University of Plymouth.
- Kelsey gained D* and 2 Bs and has secured an apprenticeship with Francis George Solicitors.
Other students will leave us to pursue opportunities including Psychology at the University of Warwick, Veterinary Science at University of Liverpool and apprenticeships at various companies including KPMG.
Executive Principal, Adrian Cush said: ‘Today’s outstanding results are testament to the hard work and dedication of these fantastic young people, their families and the staff here at The Ridgeway. We are proud of the young adults leaving us and know that they will go on to great things. We will miss them all but are thankful for the impact that they have had on our community at The Ridgeway School.’
Head of Sixth Form, Zoe Smith added, ‘Today is a celebration of the hard work and commitment our students have shown over the past two years. We are so proud of their endeavour and thrilled that they have secured exciting opportunities to move on to. Our students leave us not only with excellent exam results but as exceptional people who will go on to make an outstanding contribution to society.’
