Harvey – Student Head of School
Hello everyone! I’m Harvey and I’m glad to say that I am one of your Student Head of Schools. I am currently studying sociology, psychology, and politics. As well as this, I have been playing rugby outside school for 15 years so you can say I am quite passionate about that. I have been with the Ridgeway family since year 7 and have taken many roles of leadership and can’t wait to engage with everyone and create some amazing opportunities. We are going to work hard to achieve lots of positive support experiences and allow everyone to feel part of the community. I will look forward to seeing all of you round school and you can probably identify me by looking for the person wearing the Hawaiian shirt.
Frankie – Student Head of School
Hello! I'm Frankie and I am over the moon to be Student Head of School. Over the years at Ridgeway, I have been supported in my growth to become the person I am today and I am delighted to represent such an amazing community in both the school and sixth form.
Currently, I am studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry with a passion for the environment and all animals; I especially love rhinos. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the school staff and students to create an inclusive, inspiring and imaginative environment.
Not only this, I cannot wait to organize and execute various social and academic events to motivate my peers and raise the Ridgeway's spirit to the roof.
I am grateful to be an ambassador and advocate for everything the Ridgeway school stands for and I promise to always be a voice for everyone year 7 all the way through to year 13.
Ben – Deputy Student Head of School
Hello I’m Ben and I’m excited to be your Deputy Student Head of School.
Having been at the school since year 7, this has always been a role that I have aspired for.
Currently, I am studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science with the aim of taking Physics further at university.
I’m particularly looking forward to working with others especially on student voice, to listen to others’ ideas to make improvements. I wish to be able to carry on the work from previous Student Heads of School. This is a great opportunity which I hope that I can use to the fullest through all it has to offer, representing the school.
Jade – Deputy Student Head of School
Hi! I’m Jade and I am so thrilled to be Student Deputy Head of Ridgeway during years 2023-2024. I am so honoured to work alongside Frankie, Ben and Harvey to continue to develop our sixth form and the rest of the school in a positive way.
I am currently studying A-Level Psychology, Biology and Business Studies here at ridgeway, and I have a particular passion for business, which I would love to pursue in the future. The staff at ridgeway are incredibly supportive, and I am so delighted to work with them from this point forward. I aim to enforce kindness and inclusion, and I am so incredibly appreciative that this opportunity gives me the chance to implicate this.
I am eager to start working with committee heads, to further engagement by holding many more events for students and the local community to get involved with! I am really looking forward to welcoming the upcoming Year 11s and showing them what sixth form is all about!
I can’t wait to get started, and begin representing the school!!
