Farewell and Good Luck to Our Year 11...

Year 11 have been working so hard this year and I wanted to take the opportunity to recognise this. Their dedication, perseverance, and focus have been truly inspiring. They have all worked incredibly hard to get to this point, and their ability to stay focused on their goals while balancing everything else has been impressive. Whether it’s through late nights, difficult homework’s, or pushing through moments of doubt, they have shown resilience and determination every step of the way.

On Tuesday 22nd April, we celebrated their hard work, dedication, and achievements during our ‘Good Luck’ Assembly. It was a day to recognise the efforts of those who have gone above and beyond, striving for excellence not only in their studies but in every aspect of their lives.

Mr Wakefield shared a video that staff had made for them and then gave them the following message in the assembly:

‘Success is not only about achieving recognition—it’s also about the journey. The skills you’ve learned, the relationships you’ve built, and the resilience you’ve developed. These are the qualities that will shape your future and empower you to make a difference in the world. I think we need to take a moment to thank the teachers, parents, and mentors who have supported and guided you along the way. They have believed in you, sometimes even before you believed in yourself, and have been an essential part of your success. Once again, congratulations to all of you. You’ve earned this moment, and I can’t wait to see what incredible things you will achieve over the next few months!’
